Job summary

Circet Ireland is seeking qualified Electricians to install and commission domestic EV charging systems and solar PV installations across the Dublin/Leinster region. You will work in Circet's Home Energy Department, performing safe, efficient field-based work with a strong focus on customer service and compliance.

The role requires Level 6 Electrician qualification, 18th Edition knowledge, and driving licence.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Electrician with Level 6 or equivalent.
• Knowledge of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Inspection and testing certification.
• Experience with solar PV and EV charging installations desirable.
• Valid QC number preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installations of domestic EV charging systems and solar PV systems according to specifications and customer requirements.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines, codes, and regulations while working on electrical Home Energy installations.
• Technical Expertise: Proficient in electrical systems, equipment, and tools, ensuring accurate installation and troubleshooting of EV chargers and PV installations.
• Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, addressing inquiries and explaining installation procedures.
• Perform electrical testing, fault finding, and commissioning of systems to ensure compliance with current regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
• Complete and submit installation documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide on-site customer service, including clear explanations of systems to homeowners.
• Keep up to date with regulations, technologies, and products related to home energy solutions.

Circet Ireland are looking for a qualified Electricians in the Dublin/Leinster Region. As an Electrician within Circet's Home Energy Department, you will play a vital role in delivering clean, smart energy solutions to residential customers. Your primary responsibility will be the safe and efficient installation, testing, and commissioning of domestic Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers and Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems. This is a field-based role that demands technical excellence, customer service, and adherence to health and safety and industry standards

Responsibilities of a Home Energy Electrician:

• Carry out installations of domestic EV charging systems and solar PV systems according to specifications and customer requirements.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines, codes, and regulations while working on electrical Home Energy installations.
• Technical Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in electrical systems, equipment, and tools, ensuring accurate and efficient installation and troubleshooting of EV car Chargers and PV installations.
• Customer Service: Interact professionally and courteously with customers, addressing their inquiries, explaining installation procedures, and providing over the should support upon installation.
• Perform electrical testing, fault finding, and commissioning of systems to ensure compliance with current regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
• Complete and submit all necessary installation documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide excellent customer service on-site, including clear explanations of systems to homeowners.
• Keep up to date with latest regulations, technologies, and products related to home energy solutions.

Requirements:

• Fully qualified Electrician with Level 6 or equivalent.
• Full clean driver's licence (manual).
• Knowledge of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Inspection and testing certification.
• Valid QC number (preferred)
• Knowledge and experience with domestic electrical installations, ideally including solar PV and EV charge points.
• Additional qualifications in renewable energy (e.g., solar PV, battery storage, EVCP) desirable. Possess a valid electrical trade qualification/certification or relevant electrical license.
• Demonstrate prior experience in electrical installations, repairs, or maintenance, preferably in a smart meter or similar program.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and safety regulations.
• Ability to identify electrical issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact professionally with customers and collaborate with team members.
• Strong focus on accuracy and precision in electrical work, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications.
• Deep commitment to following safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
• Willingness to adapt to changing project demands, schedules, and locations as required.
