Job summary

Midwest Electrical Wholesale in Ennis is seeking a full-time Electrical Trade Counter Sales Person to assist contractors and trade customers at the branch. You will handle inquiries, provide product advice, process sales orders and quotations, check stock, arrange collections, and coordinate with the warehouse for deliveries.

You will also merchandising the counter, maintain a clean, safe work environment, and support stock control tasks such as goods-in checks and inventory counts while working

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills for trade counter queries.
• Basic sales skills including order processing, upselling, and cross-selling.
• Good organizational and time-management abilities with attention to paperwork, pricing, and stock information.
• Comfortable using computers and point-of-sale systems; ability to learn product catalogues and internal software quickly.
• Knowledge of electrical products or experience in the electrical industry is an advantage, though training can be provided.
• Ability to work in a physical, on-site environment, including standing for extended periods and assisting with light manual handling.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and reliability in adhering to schedules, procedures, and health and safety requirements.
• Experience in wholesale, hardware, or trade supply and a relevant qualification or apprenticeship would be beneficial.
