Job summary

Rexel Group in Limerick is recruiting a Trade Counter / Warehouse Sales role to deliver excellent customer service while supporting day-to-day warehouse operations. You will assist customers with product knowledge, quotes, and orders, and help manage stock and on-site activities.

The ideal candidate has sales and warehouse experience, knowledge of electrical products, and forklift experience is advantageous. This position offers opportunities to upsell and contribute to branch targets.

Qualifications

• Sales and warehouse experience essential.
• Electrical Wholesale experience and electrical product knowledge are an advantage.
• Experience with operating a forklift is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Respond to sales enquiries either by phone or over the counter, provide advice, information, quotations and ensure maximum level of sales and margin.
• Supporting warehouse operations including picking, packing, goods management, and ensuring products are prepared accurately and efficiently for customer collection and delivery.
• Offer alternative products, up-sell where possible, promote own brands and cross-brand sales.
• Stay updated with product knowledge and branch costs and targets.
• Taking orders and preparing them.
• Purchasing from MRP within the branch.
• Involvement in all aspects of the business on site.
• Other ad hoc duties.

We are recruiting a Trade Counter / Warehouse Sales for our branch in Limerick.

Job Description

Role Purpose

To provide product knowledge of electrical products along with excellent customer serviceand support the day-to-day warehouse operations of the branch, ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
