Rexel Bray, a leading electrical distributor, seeks a Trade Counter Sales person to join the busy Bray branch in Wicklow. You will help professionals find the right products quickly and accurately, providing product knowledge and excellent customer service.

Essential sales experience and electrical product knowledge are valued, with forklift and B-license advantageous. This full-time, on-site role includes a benefits package and opportunities to grow with the team.

Qualifications

Sales experience essential.
Electrical Wholesale experience is an advantage.
Experience operating a forklift is an advantage.
Driver license (B) required.
Customer focused with strong time management and attention to detail.
Good communication and team-working skills.
Proficient IT skills (Word, Outlook, Excel) and fluent English.

Responsibilities

Respond to sales inquiries by phone or over the counter, provide advice, quotations and maximise sales and margin.
Offer alternatives, upsell, promote own brands and cross-brand sales.
Stay updated with product knowledge, branch costs and targets.
Taking orders and preparing them.
Purchasing from MRP within the branch.
Involvement in all on-site business activities.
Other ad hoc duties.
