Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an Engineering Technician (Electrical) in Ireland to support preventative and reactive maintenance of electrical, fire life safety and mechanical building services. The role involves issuing permits, working to HASAWA standards and coordinating with subcontractors and the FM engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have electrical trade background, experience with UPS and emergency power, and knowledge of building management systems.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade background with practical maintenance experience.
• Experience with UPS, emergency power, and building services.
• HASAWA training or recognised health & safety qualification.
• Experience with commercial building assets and BMS controls.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical, fire life safety and mechanical building services.
• Coordinate with admin staff to close tasks on PRISM for PPM and reactive work.
• Report all activity and incidents to the Engineer-FM team.
• Ensure all PPM tasks are completed within SLA and comply with standards.
• Coordinate and review reports with site engineers and subcontractors.
• Liaise with building users and respond positively to requests.
