Job summary

Jones Engineering in Dublin (Various Sites) is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join site-based teams. The role offers secure, long-term work with a safety-focused environment and exposure to healthcare and commercial projects.

Responsibilities include electrical maintenance, installation, testing, and adherence to IS 10101 regulations. The successful candidate will work with experienced teams and have opportunities for skill development and progression.

Qualifications

QQI Level 6 in Electrical Craft Practice or equivalent.
Safe Electric Qualified Certifier.
QQI Level 6 Special Purpose Award in Emergency Lighting Commissioning.
Demonstrable a high level of technical knowledge with practical application.
Experience in healthcare/commercial projects and/or maintenance operations is desirable.

Responsibilities

Work as part of a team to complete Electrical Maintenance projects.
Adhere to safety standards and IS 10101 National Rules for Electrical Installations regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
Electrical installation work includes Cable Containment, Cable Pulling, Glanding, Terminating, Earthing, Light and Power Systems.
Make decisions based on technical drawings and documents.
