Job summary

Spencer Ogden is seeking an Electrical Site Engineer to support data centre, commercial, industrial and fit-out projects across Ireland and Europe. The role focuses on on-site execution, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and delivering high-quality electrical installations.

The position offers travel across Europe, a 9-day fortnight, flexible working arrangements, and strong career progression with chartership support.

Qualifications

• Experience with building services and electrical installations on-site.
• Ability to coordinate multiple contractors and commissioning teams.
• Strong focus on safety, design compliance and QA/QC processes.

Responsibilities

We're partnering with a leading engineering consultancy to recruit an Electrical Site Engineer to support the delivery of high-profile data centre, commercial, industrial, and fit-out projects across Ireland and Europe.

This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer with experience in building services and electrical installations who enjoys working on-site, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and delivering projects to the highest standards. The role also offers the opportunity to travel across Europe, supporting the delivery of major data centre construction projects at various locations throughout the EMEA region.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing electrical installation quality and QA/QC
• Coordinating contractors, subcontractors, and commissioning teams
• Ensuring installations meet design, safety, and compliance standards
• Managing site documentation, reporting, and project progress
• Supporting and mentoring junior engineers
