On behalf of our client, a well-established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor with a growing Energy & Power division delivering major energy and utility infrastructure projects across Ireland, we are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor - Electrical to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and commercially competitive project estimates in conjunction with the work-winning team.
- Review tender drawings, specifications and commercial documentation to establish project scope and tender requirements.
- Prepare detailed BOQs, cost estimates and pricing schedules.
- Develop estimates using first-principles estimating techniques.
- Attend tender start-up, mid-bid and adjudication meetings.
- Carry out project site visits where required.
- Prepare enquiry schedules for subcontractors and suppliers, and review supplier and subcontractor quotations against project specifications.
- Identify tender risks, opportunities, exclusions and commercial considerations, and contribute to project risk registers.
- Participate in post-tender negotiations and clarification meetings with clients.
- Prepare commercial documentation for tender handover to the project delivery team, and maintain estimating templates, cost databases and tender tracking systems.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years' estimating experience within construction, engineering or infrastructure.
- Civil and structural estimating experience essential.
- Strong understanding of BOQs, tender drawings, specifications and commercial documentation, with experience in first-principles estimating.
- Exposure to Energy, Power, Utilities or Gas infrastructure highly advantageous.
- Experience using CCS Candy would be advantageous.
- Strong commercial awareness, numerical ability and stakeholder-management skills.
Location: Dublin, Hybrid.
Salary: €100,000 DOE, plus benefits.
