Job summary

Red Chair Recruitment seeks an experienced Project Manager to join our Substation Electrical team in Dublin. This full-time role manages projects from construction through to handover, building strong relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders.

Ideally you will have 4+ years in project management, with an electrical background and proven leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. Proficient IT skills and experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary teams are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management experience, preferably in ESB or large-scale utility projects.
• Electrical background is essential.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient IT skills: MS Project, Excel, Word, Teams.
• Experience managing client relationships from pre-construction through completion.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects through construction and handover, ensuring delivery to programme, budget, and quality standards.
• Coordinate design teams, contractors, procurement, and on-site activities.
• Manage project programmes, costs, budgets, and tender submissions.
• Liaise with clients, renewable developers, Local Authorities, ESB Networks, landowners, and stakeholders.
• Review design drawings, manage RFIs and resolve project issues.
• Lead Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental standards.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 procedures.
• Work with internal Design, Commercial, Quality and HSQE teams.
