Our client is a leading member of the Irish power sector who are hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team in Dublin. This job will focus on the substation section of the business and will be well suited for someone with a background in project management and technical design.

About the Position

• As Senior Electrical Engineer, your job will be to take responsibility for leading and delivering on substation designs and programme deliverable, budgetary and quality requirements.
• Providing technical support and ensuring design verification.
• Managing and coordinating technical, commercial and financial aspects of projects with relevant stakeholders.
• Responsibility for safety as Project Supervisor Design Stage, preparing and reviewing design risk assessments and project H&S plans.
• Capable of managing and coordinating inputs from stakeholders and acting as Lead Engineer on a number of projects.

Experience/Requirements

• For Senior Electrical Engineer job, you will have 5+ years’ experience in substation design and a relevant third level qualification.
• You will also have strong project management skills and a full drivers license.
