Job summary

Ensto, a global technology company, is seeking a Product Application Engineer in Ireland to translate customer needs into practical low and medium‑voltage distribution solutions. You will collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Product Management and Operations across utility, renewable energy and industrial markets.

In this customer‑facing role you will prepare technical responses, support tenders, develop cost models and contribute to product development, validation and field trials.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in utility, electrical distribution or renewable energy markets.
• Experience in application engineering or customer-facing technical roles.
• Knowledge of low/medium-voltage distribution systems.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into practical, commercial solutions.
• Support product selection, tender responses and cost modelling.
• Provide technical and application engineering support to customers and partners.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering and Operations on product improvements.
• Develop documentation, guides and case studies.
