• Adjust, configure, and calibrate equipment to maintain performance.
• Coordinate and oversee planned maintenance shutdowns per schedule.

We are recruiting an electrical maintenance technician for our client based on Co Meath, working onsite in their manufacturing facility.

The company has seasonal production peaks and while the role is generally daytime hours, Monday to Friday there are times in the year where additional hours may be required.

They are looking for someone who is qualified as an electrician in Ireland and has worked in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support to ensure the efficient operation of production processes.
• Carry out both preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment to minimise downtime.
• Complete routine fabrication and mechanical tasks as assigned.
• Conduct inspections and testing to verify that machinery is operating safely and effectively.
• Adjust, configure, and calibrate equipment to maintain optimal performance standards.
• Coordinate and oversee planned maintenance shutdowns in line with scheduled programmes.

Requirements

• Recognised trade qualification, national certification, or completed apprenticeship in a relevant discipline.
• Proven experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently and use initiative when required.
• Sound knowledge of conveyor systems, elevators, and screening equipment.
• Good understanding of PLC systems, diagnostics, and programming.
• Experience working with industrial weighing and measurement systems.
