Job summary

Noel Group in Ireland is seeking an electrical maintenance technician for their Co Meath manufacturing facility. The role is onsite, with daytime hours Monday to Friday, and occasional overtime during seasonal peaks to meet production demands.

You will maintain production equipment, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, inspect machinery for safety, and support planned shutdowns. A recognised trade qualification and manufacturing experience are required, with knowledge of PLCs and

Qualifications

• Must have a recognised trade qualification or apprenticeship.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
• Solid understanding of PLC systems, diagnostics and programming.
• Knowledge of conveyor systems, elevators and screening equipment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support to ensure the efficient operation of production processes.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment to minimise downtime.
• Complete routine fabrication and mechanical tasks as assigned.
• Conduct inspections and testing to verify that machinery is operating safely and effectively.
• Adjust, configure, and calibrate equipment to maintain optimal performance standards.
• Coordinate and oversee planned maintenance shutdowns in line with scheduled programmes.
