Job summary

FRS Recruitment is representing a well-established food manufacturing company based in South Tipperary seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their engineering team. The role offers ongoing training and development for an experienced electrician or maintenance professional seeking a long-term career.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment, fault finding to minimise downtime, and support preventative maintenance and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with a recognised electrical trade qualification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a maintenance or electrical role.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Responding to breakdowns and fault finding to minimise downtime.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults.
• Supporting preventative maintenance and continuous improvement projects.
• Assisting with equipment upgrades and installations.
• Liaising with contractors and suppliers when required.
• Completing maintenance records and required documentation.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
