Job summary

John Sisk & Son Ltd. is seeking an Electrical Lead to oversee delivery of electrical systems for data centre and life sciences projects from our Dublin base, with travel to Europe.

You will lead a team, review designs and ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance while coordinating with engineering, construction and client teams. The role requires strong leadership, extensive experience on major construction projects, and a hands-on approach to integration, testing and handover.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• Proven experience leading electrical delivery on Tier 1 construction or engineering projects.
• Relevant health and safety training (e.g. Safe Pass, CSCS or equivalent).
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards professional membership (e.g. Engineers Ireland, IET, CIBSE).
• Postgraduate qualification in project management or construction management is desirable.
• Vendor-specific training or certification in switchgear, UPS, or critical power systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical team and oversee delivery of LV/MV distribution, UPS, generators, lighting and life safety systems.
• Review design documents, technical submittals and material selections for compliance and quality.
• Ensure electrical works meet programme, cost and quality objectives across projects.
• Coordinate with mechanical, process, instrumentation and BMS teams for integration and testing.
• Support project handover with accurate documentation and system certification.
