Electrical Engineer - Water & Wastewater Project Delivery

Job summary

This is a hands-on role blending office design, site surveys, coordination and project delivery, with travel across Ireland.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 2-3 years experience in electrical engineering or project delivery.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, P&IDs.
• Strong safety mindset and problem-solving approach.
• Clear written and verbal communication; client interaction.
• Willingness to travel across Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Design LV electrical and control systems for water/wastewater facilities.
• Prepare load schedules, equipment lists, control philosophies, diagrams and specs.
• Review schematics, P&IDs and wiring diagrams for system integration.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical and civil engineers to develop integrated solutions.
• Support procurement and technical submissions; assist commissioning.
• Carry out site surveys and assess existing installations.
• Provide technical support during installation and commissioning of electrical panels and drives.
