Job summary

AECOM is hiring an Electrical Engineer in Dublin, Ireland to contribute to HV projects and large-scale grid infrastructure. The position involves responsibilities such as primary plant layouts, providing design input to major projects, and acting as Owners’ Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering, experience with HV projects, and be fluent in English. Qualifications

Join AECOM's Transmission & Distribution team based in the Republic of Ireland. We are looking for an ambitious Electrical Engineer with HV Project experience to contribute to large‑scale grid infrastructure, grid connections and private networks.

Responsibilities

• Primary plant layouts for HV substations
• Equipment specifications for HV Plant and associated equipment
• Provide engineering design input to major infrastructure projects
• Act as Owners’ Engineer on HV substation/Cable and OHL projects
• Provide HV design input to renewable energy projects (battery storage, solar, hydro, wind)
• Deliver professional services to clients in Ireland, UK and overseas

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience working on HV projects

• Ability to work flexibly across multiple projects
• Fluency in English
• Experience in technical report writing
