Job summary

Arcadis invites you to a Summer Internship in Electrical Engineering within our Electrical & Instrumentation team. You will gain hands-on experience on innovative projects in pharmaceutical, biotechnology and industrial sectors, working alongside experienced engineers and project managers.

Our programme provides signposted training, exposure to real projects, and mentorship across multidisciplinary teams, helping you develop technically and professionally during the internship or placement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related subject is required or in progress.
• Demonstrates resilience, creativity, analytical thinking and teamwork.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support design and delivery of electrical power distribution systems and building services.
• Assist in producing electrical drawings, schematics, and single-line diagrams.
• Contribute to design calculations including cable sizing, voltage drop, and load assessments.
• Assist with site surveys, inspections, testing and commissioning activities.
• Collaborate with process, mechanical, HVAC, architectural, construction and validation teams.
