HVAC Engineer Intern — Building Services & Clean Rooms

Job summary

Arcadis invites interns and placement students to join a multidisciplinary team and gain hands-on exposure to real projects. You will contribute to HVAC and Building Services design, working on energy-saving initiatives and sustainability systems while developing professional skills.

You will be supported by structured training and signposted development opportunities across a 10–12 week internship or a 12-month placement, with travel as needed and virtual-working options where possible.

Qualifications

• You will be working towards a degree in a relevant subject.
• Demonstrate Arcadian skills including resilience, creativity, analytical thinking and being a team player.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and consult stakeholders.
• Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (virtual working where possible).

Responsibilities

• Support HVAC/Building Services design across projects.
• Contribute to Energy Saving Review and Implementation, Sustainability systems.
• Assist with basics from ventilation to Grade A clean rooms, chilled/cooling water, heating, steam, condensate, compressed air and CHP.
