Job summary

Global Professional Consultants seeks an Electrical Engineer to join a leading engineering contractor on a Hyperscale Data Centre project in Finland. The ideal candidate has data centre exposure and solid electrical engineering fundamentals.

You will coordinate installations, manage technical submissions, and support handover activities. Salary circa 75k–85k EUR DOE with expat tax benefits, housing support, pension and travel provisions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or trade qualified.
• 3+ years of Electrical Engineering experience with a main contractor.
• Experience in Data Centre or high-tech sectors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Manage preconstruction activities, including technical submissions, construction drawings, and commissioning.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate procurement of electrical packages and liaise with the Procurement Manager.
• Work closely with project teams to maintain schedules and deliver high-quality installations.
• Coordinate electrical services and builder’s work drawings with the Site/Project Manager.
• Maintain project documentation, including drawings, RFIs, Tech Sub Logs, schedules, and QA Packs.
• Support commissioning, subcontractor coordination, and project handover.
