Job summary

ABEC Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design and installation for projects, reporting to the Engineering Manager.

The role includes interfacing with customers, developing control panels, schematics, and supporting field services. Required is a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 3 years’ experience with 400/480 VAC systems, plus familiarity with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Emerson DeltaV) and NEC/NFPA 70.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience with 400/480 VAC, three-phase, 50/60 Hz motor circuits.
• Experience sizing feeders/branch circuits, loads, protections and short-circuit ratings.
• Familiarity with PLC hardware and NEC/NFPA 70, UL508A standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead Electrical Engineering projects and liaise with customers.
• Define scope, develop specifications, and manage schedules.
• Develop control panel layouts, electrical schematics and BOMs.
• Produce hardware documentation and end-user manuals.
• Provide technical support to customers, sales and field service.
