Job summary

EDC - Engineering Design Consultants is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer to lead the full electrical design on projects across sizes. You will mentor engineers, manage design processes, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

You will work in a hybrid setting with office attendance three days a week, and travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 6+ years Building Services consultancy design experience.
• Expert user of Microsoft Office.
• Experience with thermal modelling and energy assessment advantageous.
• BIM experience a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead Electrical and Mechanical design across projects from concept to construction.
• Oversee design processes to meet project requirements and standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers.
• Manage project cost control and budgeting where appropriate.
• Lead client discussions and maintain strong relationships.
