Job summary
EDC in Ireland is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer to lead and mentor engineers, overseeing full electrical design from concept to construction on projects of all sizes. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain technical leadership across the design outputs.
The role requires a minimum electrical engineering degree, 6+ years in building services, and strong BIM, energy modelling and commercial awareness.
Qualifications
- Minimum Degree level in Electrical Engineering.
- 6+ years Building Services consultancy design experience.
- Chartership desirable.
- Advanced BIM and modelling experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of building regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of Electrical and Mechanical projects across all stages.
- Oversee electrical design from concept to construction.
- Manage design process to meet budget and schedule.
- Provide leadership to senior engineers and junior staff.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for efficient delivery.
- Attend design meetings, workshops, and site visits.
- Travel to client sites as required.
- Support business development and client relationships.
