Flex, a leading diversified manufacturing partner, seeks an Electrical Design Engineer for its Dundalk, Ireland operations. You will design switchgear and related products, creating general arrangements and schematics in AutoCAD, and producing BOMs and documentation.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience, strong electrical fundamentals, and proficiency with MS Office and CAD tools. You will work closely with multiple disciplines across lifecycle stages.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical background.
• Solid understanding of electricity fundamentals and electrical circuit design.
• Methodical approach to problem solving.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out electrical design of switchgear and other power distribution products under mentorship.
• Create general arrangements and electrical schematics using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Generate accurate bills of materials and supporting documentation.
• Maintain up-to-date records of designs and documentation.
• Provide technical support to internal and external customers; attend meetings as needed.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to foster a positive working environment.
