Flex in Dundalk, Ireland, is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design switchgear and power distribution products. Under mentorship, you will create general arrangements and electrical schematics using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.

You will generate accurate bills of materials, maintain design records, and provide technical support to customers while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team. A third-level qualification in Electrical Engineering is required; experience in switchgear

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical background.
• Experience in a switchgear production environment is preferred or can be substituted for qualifications.
• Solid understanding of electricity fundamentals and electrical circuit design.

Responsabilidades

• Design switchgear and power distribution products under supervision.
• Create general arrangements and electrical schematics using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Generate BOMs and supporting documentation for purchasing and fabrication.
• Maintain accurate records of designs and documentation.
• ProvideTechnical support to internal and external customers and attend meetings as needed.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to foster a positive work environment.
