Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Designer to develop and release detailed electrical schematics and control panel drawings for biopharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.

You will design installation wiring for process instrumentation, interpret I/O lists and P&IDs to ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to PLC/DCS control loops, motor controls, and digital networks. Collaboration with engineers and field service may be required.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent certification in Computer Aided Design and Drafting.
• 2+ years’ electrical design experience with industrial control systems and process loops.
• Experience with PLC/DCS hardware (Rockwell, Siemens, Delta V preferred).
• Knowledge of drafting standards, technical documentation, and regulatory codes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; ERP software (Syteline) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and release detailed electrical schematics and control panel drawings for biopharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
• Design installation and wiring for process instrumentation and control devices, interpreting I/O lists and P&IDs.
• Involve in design of PLC and DCS control loops, motor controls, and layout of control panels.
• Verify electrical installations, collaborate with engineers, conduct design reviews, and provide integrated system designs.
• Support production, participate in field service work, and contribute to continuous improvement.
