Hall Recruitment is recruiting an experienced EHS Operations Manager to lead Environment, Health & Safety performance within a major integrated facilities management operation supporting a global life sciences organisation.
This is a senior, operational EHS position based in Dublin 15, with responsibility for a complex, highly regulated environment. You'll lead two direct reports, work closely with senior client and operational stakeholders and provide wider EHS oversight across additional Irish operations.
This isn't purely a compliance role. We're looking for someone who can provide visible EHS leadership, influence behaviour, identify risk, challenge appropriately and continue developing a proactive safety culture.
You’ll take responsibility for EHS leadership across areas including:
Contractor management is an important part of the role.
You’ll oversee contractor onboarding, compliance, high-risk activities, EHS assurance and performance, working closely with Procurement and Operations to maintain appropriate standards across the account.
We’re interested in experienced EHS professionals who can demonstrate strong capability within a complex, regulated operational environment.
The formal requirements seek approximately 7 years' EHS experience, including leadership or management experience within a regulated industrial, pharmaceutical, life sciences or manufacturing environment. However, the overall relevance and strength of your experience will also be considered.
You should bring experience across several of the following:
A degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related discipline is sought.
Experience within pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, life sciences, manufacturing or another highly regulated industrial environment would be particularly relevant.
Experience in Integrated Facilities Management, GMP/GxP environments, multi-site EHS, environmental management or contractor-intensive operations would also be advantageous, but you don't need to match every desirable criterion.
You don't need to come from an identical position or meet every desirable requirement. What matters is your ability to demonstrate that you can lead EHS effectively within a complex, regulated operational environment.
At Hall Recruitment, we’re dedicated to building diverse and authentic workplaces. We also know that excellent candidates rarely match 100% of a job description. If you meet around 70% of the criteria for this role,
