Job summary

MH Engineering, part of MTM Group, is seeking an EHS Manager to drive environmental, health and safety excellence across its construction operations in Ireland. You will lead development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS policies, systems and practices to support safe project delivery.

Reporting to the Group HSEQ Director and MH Engineering Managing Director, you will mentor EHS Advisors, conduct site audits across Ireland and Europe, and build strong relationships with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or Level 5/6 EHS qualification.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar EHS management role.
• Strong knowledge of environmental, health and safety legislation and industry best practices.
• Hold a valid EU passport with the ability to travel freely throughout Ireland and Europe as required to support project and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of environmental, health and safety strategies across all construction activities.
• Develop, maintain and enhance Safety Management Systems in line with legal and company requirements.
• Undertake periodic site visits across Ireland and Europe to support project teams, conduct EHS audits and inspections.
• Provide expert guidance and coaching to senior management and project teams on EHS matters.
• Monitor EHS performance through metrics and KPIs, driving improvement initiatives and best practice.
• Lead investigations, corrective actions and reporting relating to EHS incidents, audits and inspections.
• Coordinate EHS training programmes to meet regulatory requirements and improve workforce awareness.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support EHS objectives.
• Mentor and support EHS Advisors, promoting professional development and high performance.
• Support the company's strategic growth plans through proactive EHS planning and leadership.
