Job summary

Suntory Global Spirits is seeking an experienced EHS specialist to provide expert Environmental, Health & Safety support across management and multidisciplinary teams in Ireland. The role focuses on IPPC license compliance, COMAH/Seveso controls, and driving continual improvement in EHS performance.

You will lead risk assessments, audits, training, and incident investigations while liaising with authorities and consultants to ensure regulatory adherence and sustainable practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering.
• 3-5 years' experience in EHS compliance roles.
• Strong knowledge of Irish EHS legislation including IPPC and COMAH/SEVESO.
• Experience in internal auditing.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of flammable and explosive atmosphere regulations.
• Qualified Risk Assessor.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with EPA IE/IPC license conditions and site permits.
• Manage environmental monitoring programs (air emissions, effluent, groundwater, noise, waste).
• Develop and implement the site Safety Management System aligned with ISO 45001.
• Lead accident/incident investigations and ensure corrective actions.
• Coordinate contractor safety, permit to work systems, and site inductions.
• Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and behavioral safety programs.
• Lead COMAH/Seveso compliance activities and annual reporting.
