Job summary

Elasticsearch is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Security EDR Workflows team. You will build workflows and user‑facing capabilities that connect to our Elastic Defend agent, protecting and responding to security threats.

Collaborate with security, product, and design teams to deliver high‑scale features using AI to accelerate problem solving. You will contribute to UI features, architecture, and cross‑team efforts, writing production code in TypeScript/Node.js, and helping improve

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of Node.js and React.js; Typescript a plus.
AI powered development mindset and curiosity.
Comfortable collaborating in cross‑team settings and across time zones.

Responsibilities

Implement features powering Elastic Defend UI capabilities.
Contribute to architecture of Defend management and response actions framework.
Develop scalable, high‑performance systems within Elastic ecosystem.
Write production‑grade code in Typescript/Node.js in a high‑quality codebase.
Collaborate with other Elastic engineering teams on cross‑team efforts.
Support engineering standards, tooling, and AI‑driven process improvements.
Participate in code reviews.
Work with a globally distributed team focused on Elastic Defend and OSquery capabilities from Kibana.
Contribute to large product features and AI‑assisted development.
