Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is hiring a Software Engineer for the Security EDR Workflows team. You will help build workflows and user-facing capabilities that reach the Elastic Defend agent to protect and respond to security threats.

You’ll write production-grade code in Typescript/Node.js, contribute to architecture, and collaborate with multiple teams across time zones to deliver robust, scalable features. AI will accelerate problem solving and development.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Node.js and React.js; TypeScript is a plus.
• AI-powered development mindset and curiosity to ramp up into solutions.
• Enjoy collaborating in a cross-timezone team and giving/receiving code feedback.

Responsibilities

• Implement features powering Elastic Defend user interface capabilities.
• Contribute to architecture of Defend management and response actions framework with OSQuery forensics.
• Develop scalable, high-performance systems within the Elastic ecosystem.
• Write production-grade code in Typescript/Node.js as part of a high-quality, well-tested codebase.
• Collaborate with other Elastic engineering teams on cross-team efforts.
• Drive engineering standards and tooling improvements driven by AI usage.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Work with a globally distributed team focused on Elastic Defend and OSQuery from Kibana’s perspective.
• Collaborate on large product features.
