Job summary

Carne Group in Kilkenny is seeking a Manager - Due Diligence to lead operational due diligence reviews on delegates including administrators, depositaries and investment managers. You will analyze DDQ responses, identify risks, and draft final reports for senior management.

The role requires 3–5 years in funds, strong regulatory understanding, and proficiency in MS Office. You will train junior staff, participate in meetings, and contribute to process improvements in a dynamic global team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in the funds industry (fund administration / depositary / investment management / AIFM / management company).
• Experience in attending and/or leading meetings with clients.
• Understanding of the regulatory environment impacting investment funds and management companies/AIFMs.
• Experience in report writing (e.g., due diligence, board reports) for senior management.
• Experience in reviewing and analysing documents (audit reports, financial statements, policies/procedures).
• University degree or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational due diligence reviews on delegates (administrators, depositaries, investment managers, distributors).
• Analyze DDQ responses and supporting docs to identify risks and propose mitigations.
• Draft clear due diligence reports for senior management review.
• Help develop the due diligence process and drive efficiencies.
• Provide training and support to junior team members.
• Attend internal meetings to update on status of the due diligence program.
• Perform ad hoc tasks or projects as assigned.
