Job summary

ProSource Group is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join a Dublin-based commercial team within a leading Tier One main building contractor. You will manage the commercial aspects from procurement through to completion across residential, schools, apartments and aparthotels projects.

Ideally you hold a Degree in Quantity Surveying, with experience in main contracting and strong procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics.
• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
• Main contractor experience would be highly advantageous.
• Experience across residential, commercial or large-scale building projects.
• Strong understanding of procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Good contractual and commercial awareness.
• Strong communication, analytical and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing the commercial aspects of projects from procurement through to completion.
• Preparing valuations, cost reports, forecasts and final accounts.
• Managing subcontractor accounts and procurement packages.
• Monitoring project costs, variations, claims and commercial risks.
• Reviewing contracts and ensuring commercial compliance.
• Working closely with project managers, site teams, clients and subcontractors.
• Supporting the Senior QS and Commercial Manager with the overall commercial delivery of the project.
