Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment in Dublin is seeking an experienced Engineering Services Support Engineer to own the day-to-day IT environment for our Dublin office, working with Bristol colleagues.

You will provide first- and second-line support, manage incidents, hardware, assets, and development kits, and help implement DevOps tools and automation. A hands-on, proactive self-starter will thrive in a dynamic, global gaming company.

Qualifications

• Experience in a service desk, desktop support or IT support environment.
• Interest and developing skills in DevOps tools and automation.
• Structured problem-solving with evidence-based next steps.
• Good understanding of networking foundations and core technologies.
• Confidence with physical hardware as well as software.
• Excellent communication, judgement and ownership of services.

Responsibilities

• Own first- and second-line support for Dublin colleagues from initial contact to resolution.
• Support Windows 11, Mac OS, and develop Linux knowledge.
• Manage incidents and requests in the service desk with accurate, prioritised tickets.
