Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking a Drug Product Technical Manager in Ireland to lead a small technical team and oversee manufacturing, transfers and new product introductions. You will partner across functions to ensure timely delivery from early project work through to commercial production.

The role combines leadership with hands-on technical involvement, driving process performance, efficiency and site growth in a GMP environment.

Qualifications

• Proven people leadership experience with direct reports.
• Strong Drug Product manufacturing experience in GMP environments.
• Experience in OSDF manufacturing processes (granulation, milling, blending, tableting).
• Experience supporting technical transfers, validation and new product introductions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Track record of solving technical problems and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of technical professionals with performance management.
• Provide technical oversight for a portfolio of commercial products and launches.
• Lead technical transfers, validation and qualification activities for new products.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering and Development to resolve challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance robustness, yield and efficiency.
• Support feasibility assessments, project planning and future product strategies.
