Job summary

AllPro Recruitment Ltd seeks reliable Domestic Staff to support ward dining and meal services in Galway. You will help provide a clean, welcoming environment and assist with meals on the ward, while engaging compassionately with patients and upholding privacy and dignity.

This frontline role emphasizes hygiene, teamwork, and excellent customer care. Training is provided; prior healthcare, hospitality, catering, or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential. Pay is €16.92 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, hospitality, catering, or cleaning is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
• Ability to work as part of a busy multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve breakfast to patients.
• Assist with the preparation and serving of meals and refreshments.
• Clear meal trays and maintain a clean dining and ward environment.
• Clean and maintain ward kitchens and food preparation areas in line with hygiene standards.
• Wash and store crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment.
• Restock kitchen supplies and ensure food service areas are well maintained.
• Carry out general domestic duties within the ward and kitchen.
• Engage positively with patients, offering friendly conversation and patient care.
• Follow HSE policies relating to food safety and infection prevention and control.
