Job summary

Winthrop Technologies in Dublin is seeking a Document Controller to manage project documentation on a major data centre site, ensuring accuracy and version control across drawings, schedules, specifications, contracts, submittals, RFIs and reports.

You will distribute documents to stakeholders, maintain registers, analyze data, and generate status and overdue reports while supporting QA, QC and HSE initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar site-based role
• High level of verbal and written English is essential
• Excellent organisation and interpersonal skills
• High level of IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience of knowledge sharing applications is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Distribute and track documents to ensure stakeholders have access to latest versions (drawings, schedules, specifications, contracts, submittals, RFIs, reports)
• Maintain and update project registers (document, RFI, action log, issue log)
• Analyse and summarise data from project logs, highlight overdue items
• Generate regular reports to support project tracking (document status, overdue reports)
• Ensure accurate storage and version control of documents per procedures
• Liaise with external consultants/contractors to ensure documentation complies with standards
• Support QA/QC and HSE initiatives by assisting with audits and ensuring document-related compliance
