Job summary

Sunrise of Killarney is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support our dining services, including the kitchen, dining room, and bistro. You will wash dishes, sanitize equipment, and help maintain clean, safe food-prep areas.

The role requires a high school diploma and may involve CPR/First Aid and ServSafe certifications. Training and teamwork align with Sunrise's commitment to resident care.

Qualifications

• One (1) year job related experience preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate may be required.
• ServSafe Food Handler Card and Local Health Dept Card may be required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the dish and pot washing areas.
• Operate dish machine according to manufacturer instructions.
• Wash and sanitize all dishes, silverware, glassware, and cookware.
• Maintain logs for dish machine temperatures and sanitation.
• Maintain equipment logs and report issues promptly.
• Clean kitchen areas and perform janitorial duties as needed.
• Assist with food preparation and plating when necessary.
• Store and rotate cookware, china, glassware, and utensils safely.
• Follow safety rules, PPE, SDS, and related procedures.
