Job summary

The Talbot Group in Naas, Ireland, is seeking a compassionate Disability Support Specialist to help residents live independently. You will collaborate with the Person In-Charge and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred support and guide frontline staff to excellence.

Responsibilities include medication support, care planning, documentation, and ensuring health, safety, and quality standards are met, while promoting choice and meaningful activities for residents.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 6 or higher in Social Care, Healthcare or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Direct Support Worker or in a similar role.
• Full Irish driving licence.
• Irish, EU, or EEA passport.
• Strong communication skills with a proactive, compassionate, person-centred approach.
