Job summary

Disability and Home Support Services in Wexford seeks motivated Support Workers to empower people with disabilities to live independently and participate in their communities. The role includes direct care, ADL support, and collaboration with families to tailor care plans.

Applicants should have healthcare experience, a full driving license, and be flexible for weekdays and weekends. Garda Vetting and references are required; sponsorship is not offered at this time.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 QQI Level 5 modules in Health Care Support / Intellectual Disability Studies / Social Care or equivalent.
• Ability to work weekdays and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to service users to promote independence and well-being.
• Assist with activities of daily living and community participation.

Starting salary of:

• Standard rate: €15.00 per hour
• Sunday rate: €18.00 per hour
• Bank Holiday rate: €22.50 per hour

Salary increase upon successful completion of probationary period:

• Standard rate: €15.25 per hourSunday rate: €18.30 per hour
• Bank Holiday rate: €22.87 per hour

2 - 5 years plus of service:

• Standard rate: €15.50 per hour
• Sunday rate: €18.60 per hour
• Bank Holiday rate: €23.25 per hour

5 years plus of service:

• Standard rate: €16.00 per hour
• Sunday rate: €19.20 per hour
• Bank Holiday rate: €24.00 per hour

Requirements:

• Previous experience in healthcare.
• Full driving license
