Job summary

TerraGlen, based in Ireland, is seeking a Social Care Worker to support people with disabilities in daily living, community inclusion and independent living skills. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and uphold HIQA standards while maintaining strong records and safeguarding practices.

The role requires CORU registration (or proof of application), a Level 7+ qualification in Applied Social Care, and a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Level 7 or higher qualification in Applied Social Care or CORU-approved discipline.
• CORU Registration (or proof of CORU application) - mandatory.
• Recognition of Prior Learning / Assessment of Professional Competence route.
• Full, clean Driving Licence.
• Commitment to supporting people with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support in daily living and community inclusion.
• Promote dignity, choice, and active participation in line with New Directions.
• Support service users with personal care, communication, and emotional wellbeing.
• Participate as a Key Worker and contribute to individual personal plans.
• Build positive relationships with service users, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate records in line with HIQA standards and TerraGlen policies.
• Support safeguarding practices, risk reporting, and quality improvements.
• Work collaboratively as part of a warm, respectful team environment.
