Job summary

The Talbot Group is seeking a dynamic Person in Charge to lead an Adult Residential Disability Service in Navan. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, person-centred care, staff management, and regulatory compliance.

Monday to Friday 9am–5pm, with opportunities for training and professional development. You will oversee care plans, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure residents’ independence and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 7 Degree in Social Care or an allied discipline is required.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a management or supervisory role in health or social care.

Responsibilities

• Overall management of the service and staff.
• Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and Talbot Group policies.
• Report and respond to complaints per policies.
• Provide mentorship, supervision, and regular team meetings.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team for resident care.
• Maintain high quality of life through person-centred care plans and risk assessments.
• Support residents’ choice, citizenship, and family engagement.
• Review and update care plans per regulations.
• Commit to ongoing professional development.
