Job summary

The Panel in Dublin seeks a Director of Enterprise Network & Connectivity to shape and modernise the network strategy across data centres, cloud, customer channels and third parties. You will lead a large technical team and drive resilient network architecture, automation and Zero Trust initiatives.

The role is permanent, based in Dublin with a hybrid working model (3-4 days in the office per week). You will govern the MSP relationships and oversee end-to-end connectivity across multiple

Qualifications

• 10+ years in network engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in senior leadership leading large technical teams.
• Experience governing MSPs across commercial/ contractual aspects.
• Proven track record in resilient network architecture and disaster recovery.
• Background in cloud solutions, AIOps, SDN, network automation and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end network and connectivity strategy across data centres, cloud, customer channels and third parties.
• Govern the organisation's managed network service provider and related contracts.
• Define future-state network architecture and modernisation including SDN, automation and Zero Trust.
• Ensure resilience, disaster recovery and performance at systemic scale.

Director of Enterprise Network & Connectivity

Our client is seeking a IT leader to shape and modernise the network strategy for one of Ireland's most significant technology estates.

In this role you will own

• The end-to-end network and connectivity strategy across data centres, cloud, customer channels and third parties
• The strategic relationship and commercial governance of the organisation's managed network service provider
• Future-state network architecture and modernisation: SDN, network automation, cloud connectivity, Zero Trust and AIOps
• Resilience, disaster recovery and service performance at systemic scale

Experience to include

• 10+ years in network engineering, telecoms or infrastructure services with 5+ years in senior leadership, leading large technical teams and strategic partners through complex transformation
• Proven experience governing managed service providers across commercial, contractual and performance
• Track record in resilient network architecture, disaster recovery and automation and good background in latest network technologies: cloud solutions, AIOps, SDN, network automation and Infrastructure as Code
