Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Director of Product Management for Streams to own end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, and a distributed PM team capable of delivering scalable data ingestion, processing, and routing. You will drive KPIs, partner with Observability, Security, and Search leaders, and enable self-service data access for customers.

You bring 10+ years in product management, strong technical fluency with telemetry tools, SaaS pricing experience, and excellent communication to align multiple

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management, incl. 4+ years leading PM teams in data infra/observability/pipelines.
• Deep fluency in telemetry ingest: OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, log processing, routing, and agent management.
• Experience shipping SaaS products with usage-based pricing, and building platform capabilities shared by several product lines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with the Elastic Stack is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and roadmap for data collection, ingestion, processing and routing, and the integrations framework.
• Define and track KPIs focused on product and feature adoption.
• Partner with Observability, Security, and Search product leaders to provide a shared service everyone can leverage.
• Make getting data ingestion self-service, with time-to-first-data measured in minutes.
• Lead a team of distributed product managers and enable them to deliver measurable outcomes.
• Drive roadmap priorities by working with customers, internal teams, and the community.
• Work with engineers and designers to scope and define compelling features.
• Enable sales, marketing, and partners with clear messaging and positioning.
