Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Director of Product Management to own Streams end-to-end and lead the PM team responsible for data ingestion, routing, and processing. You will drive the roadmap, set measurable outcomes, and partner with Observability, Security, and Search leaders to deliver a shared service across multiple product lines.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management, including 4+ years leading PM teams in data infrastructure, observability, or data pipelines.
• Deep technical fluency in telemetry ingest: OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, log processing, routing, and agent management.
• Experience shipping SaaS products with usage-based pricing, and building platform capabilities shared by several product lines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and roadmap for data collection, ingestion, processing and routing, and the integrations framework.
• Define and track KPIs focused on product and feature adoption
• Partner with Observability, Security, and Search product leaders to provide a shared service everyone can leverage
• Make getting data ingestion self-service, with time-to-first-data measured in minutes.
• Lead a team of distributed product managers and enable them to deliver measurable outcomes.
• Drive roadmap priorities by working with customers, internal teams, and the community
• Work with engineers and designers to scope and define compelling features
• Enable sales, marketing, and partners with clear messaging and positioning
