Job summary
Mastercard is seeking a talented Software Engineering Director to lead the Mastercard Foundry R&D Team focused on Quantum, AI & ML initiatives located in our European tech hub in Leopardstown, Dublin. In this role you will be a leading a highly agile team building exiting and innovative products, proving the art of whats possible and delivered at scale to our global markets.
Our team will have a diverse focus spanning geography and technology challenges, driving hard to bring innovative payment
Qualifications
- Experience in software engineering and delivery of software projects.
- Experience with Quantum, AI/ML or data science an advantage.
- Experience in Python and Jupyter in production environments.
- Experience developing and deploying technologies in virtual environments (Kubernetes).
- Experience using AI harnesses and AI-assisted software development.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coach a group of engineers and lead agile software projects.
- Define requirements for applications and ensure best practices.
- Marry Quantum and AI/ML with software engineering solutions.
- Research and document scalable global solutions.
- Drive project management, reporting and execution of software programs.
- Lead internal and external events and foster innovation.
