Job summary

QT Technologies Ireland Limited is seeking a highly experienced Principal or Director of Software Engineering to lead a multidiscipline team spanning software development, core platform, and AI accelerator software for datacenters.

You will guide teams across SoC firmware, peripheral interfaces, bootloaders, hypervisors, and power-management systems while enabling low-latency AI inference and edge computing.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering experience with 5–8+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience in matrixed organizations spanning multiple regions.
• Expertise in C/C++ and Python with strong system-level programming.
• Linux kernel and system software experience for Cloud Edge/Datacenters.
• Experience with RTOS like Zephyr and OSS projects.
• Experience with ARM and RISCV boot flows and ISAs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across software development, core platform, and AI accelerator software.
• Lead embedded software teams for AI data-center inference products and SoC firmware.
• Direct software test teams for core platform firmware validation and secure testing.
• Oversee Audio software pipelines and DSP/Codec development.
• Mentor and grow a 50+ engineer team and collaborate across sites/geo’s.
