Optum, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Director of Data Analytics & Applied AI Solutions in Ireland. You will lead a team of data analysts, accelerate analytics, and drive AI-enabled production across data operations, automation and decision support.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
• Proven experience leading BI, dashboards, data quality, analytics delivery and business performance teams
• Proven experience building AI/ML, automation, advanced analytics or agentic solutions from PoC to production
• Demonstrated impact through analytics, reporting, AI or data-driven solutions
• Fluency to partner with data science, engineering, product and technology teams on feasibility and delivery
• Ability to translate complex business challenges into data/analytics/AI roadmaps
• Strong leadership, communication, and execution skills to influence stakeholders

Responsabilidades

• Own the Data Operations roadmap for data, analytics, automation and applied AI
• Identify opportunities for AI to augment analytics delivery
• Deliver AI/ML, automation, data mining and LLM-enabled solutions from PoC to production
• Lead BI, reporting, analytics, data management and decision-support capabilities
• Build partnerships with engineering, product and business teams for solution direction and readiness
• Define metrics, dashboards, data quality controls and performance insights
• Lead and develop a high-performing, inclusive data team
