Job summary

Centra in Ireland is seeking a capable diner supervisor to oversee the smooth running of our diner and ensure top customer service and fresh food offerings. You will work with the team to set and achieve sales targets, manage rostering and leave, and maintain accurate records while upholding diner policies.

You will need 1+ years in a fast-food environment, strong Excel/Word skills, and a proactive, customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a fast-food environment.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting and multitask under pressure.
• Understanding how to achieve KPIs and targets.
• Strong ability to read and act on reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word).
• Highly driven with a strong work ethic.
• Customer service experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the smooth running of the diner.
• Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets with the team on gross and net margins, waste, and other KPIs."
• Manage employee rostering and annual leave and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure diner merchandising and presentation meet high standards and planograms.
• Promote clear communication between staff and management in a safe, respectful environment.
• Handle customer queries efficiently and in line with diner policy.
• Engage with new initiatives and adapt to new ways of working.

Job description

Ensure our diner operates efficiently and effectively and that all our employees provide our customers with the best customer service and fresh food offering at all times. Deliver key store targets (sales and profitability) through effective management of people and operations. The successful candidate would also be required to work occasionally in the deli /fresh food section of our Centra store.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• One or more years€,, experience working in a Fast-Food environment
• The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment & to multitask under pressure
• An understanding of how to achieve KPIs and targets
• Strong knowledge and experience of reading and actioning reports
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Highly driven with a strong work ethic
• Previous customer service experience is an advantage
• HACCP training is an advantage but not necessary

Main duties:

• Oversee and ensure the smooth running of our diner
• Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets with the team on gross profit margin, net margin, waste and other KPIs as agreed with Owner
• Manage employee rostering and annual leave and maintain accurate and secure records
• Ensure merchandising and presentation of diner is always of the highest standard and in accordance with relevant planograms and guidelines
• Develop and promote good communication between employees and management in a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment
• Deal with all customer queries efficiently, professionally, and consistent with diner policy
• Engage with new initiatives and embrace new ways of working
