Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine seeks a Digital Product Owner for Chromatography Data Systems (CDS) to lead the CDS landscape across Therapeutics Development & Supply laboratories. You will set product direction for Empower, OpenLab CDS and Chromeleon, and connect scientific workflows with trusted data.

The role partners with DOS Architects, SMEs, and stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance, data integrity, and adoption across sites while driving digital transformation and business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharma or related sciences/engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or related sectors.
• Hands-on experience with Empower, Openlab CDS, or Chromeleon is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design & Implement Software Solutions: Define CDS future state driven by business value.
• Regulatory, Audit & SOP Management Support: Ensure compliance and data integrity across upgrades and inspections.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Prioritize system enhancements and promote adoption of data solutions.
• Data Lifecycle Management: Manage data from collection to analysis following FAIR principles.
• Collaborate with Scientific Experts to guide feature design and data integration.
• Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with lab and data analytics vendors.
• Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement: Resolve issues and propose long-term improvements.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead projects across departments to realize business value.
